Recently there have been situations where designers will present their ideas or concepts strictly from an Ai render. This can go both ways, for either good or bad. Ai has not yet developed the ability to dissect the ideas for manufacturability. While prototyping basketball styles it is important to remain technical and think about tooling engineer issues before they arise. In this case, the tooling was the focus more than the upper of the sneaker. This collaboration was a total team effort to keep Curry dialed in and get outside the brands usual comfort zone and also a pleasure to work through designs from Safa Sahin.
